Several projects for new article had been abandoned or postponed. An unidentified tale about scientist E. Rutherford has his remarkable comment about his hard-working student said that he doen't spare enough time to think. I'm sure not every professor would agree with him since some of them just need an high-end workhorse and some students don't know how think.

Han Cun Village, an average Chinese rural area located in Wuqing County, Tianjin, has a more than 400-year catholic history, never been lacking of believers even in the worst times. Here village life is heavily influenced by catholic tradition, which also offered them more tolerance and helping established a more equal society comparing to other rural areas inherit the Confucian ideology.

The first cathedral in Han Cun built approximately 100 yrs ago, occupying 850 square meters, was destroyed in...not war, but the Great Cultrue Revolution(figures). Later in 1988, pastor Zhang Yonshan(张永善) initiated a project considering a smaller church house, of about 715 squre meters, to be built, all by volunteer. The project was completed as planned but soon people discovered some critical flaws on the design due to the lack of fund. In the year of 2004, the building were finally declared unsafe, and was torn down in March the exact year.

Soon a completely new project were launched in the hope of building a new cathedral covering an area in which more than 3,000 believers live and work, making it the regional largest. Since farmers in Tianjin have a relatively lot better condition comparing to other areas in China(No. 3 in 2005), the church find it not so difficult to get a constant finnancial injection, and the actual construction was begun no later than November of the year. However, since the donations, with an estimate of CNY 8,000,000, cannot come in once. The completion date is still unknown in mid-2005 (where the pictures were taken).

Still, the church body is loosely under the jurisdiction of Tianjin diocese of Chinese Patriotic Catholic Association, commonly refered as the 'official church', but consider its self-sustain nature and popularity, we can assume the pastors have gained some significant autonomies on at least church affairs.

The church is also running a musical school teachs violin for free, teachers from city musical academy(officially Tianjin Conservatory of Music) comes in weekends to offer some professional instructions.

Saudi Columnist: 'We Have Bred Monsters ... We Are the Problem and Not America'

On November 30, 2003, Dr. Muhammad Talal Al-Rasheed, columnist for the English language daily The Saudi Gazette, wrote an article titled "Senseless Violence, Senseless Death." The article is in reaction to the murder of Saudi Prince Talal Bin Abdul Aziz Al-Rasheed of Hail by 'Islamists' in Algeria. The following are excerpts from the article:(1)

"...A few days back Prince Talal Bin Abdul Aziz Al-Rasheed of Hail was murdered in Algeria while on a camping trip. He was 40 years old and his son, Nawaf, 13 years old, was with him. At the time of this writing, we only know that the father was killed, while the son s condition is to be verified.

"It is easy to get on one s soap box and pontificate; to tell humanity that we suffer from terrorism too. That is too easy though; and perhaps too intellectually cowardly. Talal was a well-known poet in Saudi Arabia. He comes from a family that ruled Arabia long enough to be recorded in history. He was and will always be a beacon of Art, whatever that word means.

"Those who killed him are those who want the word silenced. The young man left it open whether he was with this or that, but he was adamant to tell all and sundry that to be is to talk and exchange. I grieve, I must admit, and am beyond reason because of the trauma of it all, but I do maintain a semblance of reason to see where all of this is leading.

"We have bred monsters. We alone are responsible for it. I have written as much before my personal tragedy and will continue to do so for as long as it takes. We are the problem and not America or the penguins of the North Pole or those who live in caves in Afghanistan. We are it, and those who cannot see this are the ones to blame.

The majority of us are sick and tired of this carnage and President Bush, wrong on just about everything else, is right on this one. Does he have the (courage) to finish the job? I wonder.

"I don t think this will be published in the Arab News, as it should be. If not, I understand their point of view and their perpetual selectiveness. But one thing is sure, we are here to stay even if it takes giving our best to the madness of religion and the wrong of fanaticism. Nothing, but nothing, is worth the life of an innocent... may the Americans add Talal to their list of loved ones lost to the same indiscriminate madness that took 3,000 on a certain day in September."

So it is true, that telescreen have already been invented, or is it? I suspect most people can look through the screen, right into my eyes, seeing my incompetency of communication - a reason that failed me in multiple job interviews, attempted datings, etc. If not, then why everytime I tried to put something interesting (well, at least I think so) on a website, or leave some word that I actually racked myself doing it, people just go quiet, even if they were enjoying it? Its like when you were entering a loud dinning hall and everybody just stop talking, and you tend to ask yourself: Is there anything wrong with me? Have I buttoned myself incorrectly? Did I leave my pants unzipped? Is there anything like 'I bite' written on my forehead or 'kick me' sticked on my back? I knew I'm not welcomed often, but never imagined that much.

Since I've adopted this job being a machine-sitter workdays and an exhausted sleeping-beauty (sic:)on weekends, internet is my only connection to the outer world. I don't know how far is it from my insanity if it kept going this way. My desperation expressed in my following declaration: I'm not popular I'm not hip, but I'm honest, fun and sometimes witty, still, ok for your eyes - that is, if you really want to see me.

Smart people shouldn't get confused by this movie: it is more a comicized 'Fahrenheit 911' pointed directly to the Bush administration than a serious production against real totalism. With a complete political agenda, but has nothing deeper or reflects the reality. Lets say, the liberals are so desperate making this half-baked trash into the vanguard of their 2008 campaign. Yet another example of poor Democratic propaganda and the dumbass-ness of left-oriented person.

Throughout the movie, we see a masked gay kept yap yap yap without moving his lips, he is so desperate selling an idea mall, sadly enough, it doesn't work for me. Unlike those underaged fanboys, I have too much first-hand material about totalism makes me too difficult to be fooled. Yet his bullshit looks like an empty gasbag to me. Frankly, I got confused by its merits being a hollywood movie, if we want action, we get Micheal Bay, if we want story, we get Curtis Hanson, if we seriously in need of political allegory, well, George Orwell did a way much better job. And hey, what the hell am I watching it? I must be retarded. Wachowski bros. once again showed their level of teenage anime lovers: nothing deeper than surface.

Some told me it has a great story. Story, where's the f**king story? Other than taking live materials and painting with personal flavor, is there anything original? Even if there was any ... Lets take an example of the TV station, if you were the dictator, what should you do when someone is doing something interesting on air? Cut of the electricity, of course you silly-pinko. Even a taxi driver in Tianjin whould have thought about that! Don't explain to me, its called PLOTHOLE! Another evidence of the brothers' lacking of intelligence is their image of dictator. It looks like Hitler has always been liberals alpha male, but you know what, he's been defeated like 60 years, and those commies - Mao, Stalin and fellas - lasted much longer and did a much better job. As long as my memory works, a socialist regime is WAY MUCH loyal to totalism principal, despite the fact that hitler had called himself 'Socialist'. Liberals either are unable to tell, or refuse to admit, which is more likely, that a socialistic government is necessarily a totalitarian. But thats ok, considerding average liberals' living skill, they will only made themselves the lowest level of life form in a real communism totalitarian reign.

People who love this movie might seriously need a life, but whoever wrote this must get burned in Kim Jong Il's dungeon. And let me tell you, Team America got a better plot than this. For the 24 years one man have experienced, no substantial relationship, no dating, no secret love, no girl-friend or girlfriend, never got laid, never kissed a girl, never a single successful masturbation, I mean, I've tried but it simply didn't work. As a result, yes its a very funny comedy and no, I don't like men(Check out David and Cal's conversation on 'you know why I know you're gay', that's real gem.).
